Special Rules for this game
Spells can be cast more than your maximum times per day as a caster, however a cumulative 33% chance is incurred for each spell cast beyond your means for your second highest spell level and below. If you cast at your highest spell level, you incur a 66% penalty per spell.
Failing the cumulative 33% check, you trigger a magical backlash resulting in {character level}d10 worth of blast damage in a 10ft (directly surrounding squares) burst around you - harming allies and enemies and bypassing all DR (as it is by nature prismatic damage).
A successful save against the 33% check means you trigger a wild magic effect (which can be found here) instead of the deadly d10 blast.
Every character is issued with an automaton, unless they have a reason not to have one
Automatons are issued at level 1 unless levels are taken in a magical class, in which case the automaton is upgraded to match
Money can be used to upgrade your automaton, either granting it new spell-like abilities, granting increased armor, granting increased weapons, or upgrading your own caster level with all of the benefits associated
Automatons can be destroyed which will result in different outcomes depending on whether an automaton is still full of magical energy or magically spent. A destroyed automaton will burst in a 10ft radius with {amount of remaining spells}d6 of damage to all creatures.
