The Quiet Road spans the length of the Grey Fields and serves as the artery of by-ground trade for Illaras and Keinfar. One can expect satisfactory protection along the route, though extra hired protection is always encouraged. In fact, upon entering the main thorough-fares of the Grey Fields you will find extra protection all around you. Many famed adventurers serve as paid escorts through the dangerous mire and charge an applicable fee even if some have termed it "extortionate." From the path, many travelers have noted dancing lights that appear much too far off the path to investigate thoroughly. While these lights are beautiful, many cannot shake the feeling of dread that they bring, even from such a distance.
